Less than a month after it wrapped, organizers of Sasquatch! Music Festival have already made news with a big announcement: In 2014, they'll be adding a second, non-consecutive weekend with a completely different lineup.

There are no shortage of worthy charitable organizations and operations in Seattle, which meet the needs of King County's hundreds of homeless youth. But one of the needs of young people is rarely addressed by cash-strapped non-profits: The need for art, culture and music. Which is why Bumbershoot created Send a Kid, a program that helps get young people into the annual festival.

The 2013 Seattle International Film Festival ended with a showing of Sofia Coppola's "The Bling Ring," which stars Emma Watson, Israel Broussard and Katie Chang. The showing, which took place at the iconic Cinerama, included a question-and-answer segment with Broussard and Chang, and was followed with a closing gala at MOHAI in South Lake Union.

A relatively new genre, dance film is still trying to figure itself out. It's beloved by professional and working dancers, choreographers and fans, but has yet to attain major attention at big film festivals or the box off (and no, "Center Stage" doesn't count). But Seattle director/dancer/choreographer Dayna Hanson is doing her part to elevate dance film -- largely by combining it with other genres in her new feature film, "Improvement Club."

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Newseum in Washington is poking some fun at TV anchors with a new exhibit about the 2004 comedy "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" starring Will Ferrell.

The Newseum announced plans Tuesday for "Anchorman: The Exhibit" to be created with Paramount Pictures.

In April, Marymoor Park announced some of the first acts that would be joining their annual summer lineup. Since then, they've added groups including the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Sublime -- but they have yet to confirm the dates or ticketing information for arguably one of their biggest headliners, the Lumineers. Today, the band announced that they'd be playing two shows at the Redmond outdoor venue, in addition to one at Portland's Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

After three years of footwork (and some very last-minute scrambling), director Daniel Torok and producers J.R. Celski and Vinny Dorn were joined by some of Seattle's most notable hip-hop artists for the premiere of "The Otherside," a documentary following the rise and struggle of of independent hip-hop in Seattle.
