And the best TV theme song of all time is...

Yahoo! TV has finally ended the debate over which television theme song is the one to rule them all. In a March Madness-style bracketing system, the site seeded some of the most beloved themes (everything from the "Happy Days" song to Phantom Planet's "California,") and pitted them against each other. The winner? Oh, just the little tale of a three-hour tour gone sour.

Seeded at number 12, "The Ballad of Gilligan's Isle," written by Sherwood Schwartz and George Wyle, took the top spot in Yahoo!'s voting, followed closely by the theme from "Cheers," which was seeded at number 1.
