Ballard author Marjorie Young has been working hard to bring eager fans the sequel to her first book, “The Boy with the Golden Eyes.” The fantasy genre book, inspired by her young nephew Sam, follows the journey of a young, smart boy in a faraway world.

Young and her nephew (the actual boy with the golden eyes) will be launching the sequel, "The Boy with the Golden Eyes - book two - The Prophetic Journey" on Aug. 26 at the Ballard Sunday Market. Fans can meet Young and Sam, purchase copies of the book and have them signed. Young, a local psychic, will also perform readings during that time.

“We're very excited to get the book out into the world at last,” Young said. “Hopefully, people will take the opportunity to meet the inspiration for the fantasy/adventure's hero, and the cover boy as well.”
The book will shortly be available on Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble.com, and coming very soon on Kindle. Young will continue to selling the book at the Ballard Sunday Market each week from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The book is also available on Young’s website.
