There's going to be a Hillary Clinton biopic -- and these actresses are vying for the lead

Tentatively scheduled for release in 2016, a biopic about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is already generating big buzz -- and, predictably, A-list actresses are lining up to be considered for the huge role. 

According to the New York Daily News, some top celebs are eying the lead role in the film, which is going to be called "Rodham" and focuses on Clinton's early life, including her time as a lawyer at age 26 and her first few years married to President Bill Clinton. 

This isn't the only big biopic coming out in the next few years; Rob Lowe just landed the role of none other than JFK in an upcoming TV movie co-starring Ginnifer Goodwin. 

So who wants to play the tough politician? Oh, just some of Hollywood's biggest names, the Independent reports. Check out who's rumored to be vying for the role:
