Huh. So, Nordstrom is gearing up for wedding season, which means they need to remind everyone that they sell wedding gowns, bridesmaid's dresses, suits, and other critical pieces of apparel. And what better way to do that than with...Macklemore, who is most well-known for his rhyming about the value of shopping in second-hand stores?
It makes sense that the Seattle-based clothier would pick a Seattle-based duo like Macklemore and Ryan Lewis -- though Mack's message has been pretty anti-commercial, making it kind of an odd fit. And then there's all the dancing that's occurring in the video, which is supremely awkward. But then, awkward dancing is kind of a Seattle institution, too, so...I guess it all makes sense.
