STG to Donate Ticket Proceeds to Help Those Affected By Hurricane Sandy

In the wake of disaster caused by Hurricane Sandy, STG will donate $5 from each ticket to Dance Theatre of Harlem November shows to East Coast victims. The 43 year -old company, co-founded by Arthur Mitchell, and Cornish alum Karel Schook, will perform in Seattle at the Moore Theatre on November 16 and 17.

"The Seattle Theatre Group has incredible links to artists and arts organizations in the New York area and our hearts go out to everyone effected by this natural disaster," said STG Executive Director Josh LaBelle .  With an iconic New York institution such as Dance Theatre of Harlem coming to our city so soon, this is our way of connecting directly with those effected by the hurricane, while also taking this opportunity to send support.  We may be on the other coast, but this circumstance has certainly hit home."

Tickets purchased to either the Nov. 16 or 17 performance, online or in person will be included.
