Devotees to the brand are willing to pay a pretty penny for Starbucks' signature products. But according to the company, they won't have to pony up quite so much for at least one of the items available in stores, thanks to the easing market prices.
The AP reports that, due to coffee prices dropping, Starbucks will be able to lower the price of their 1-lb bags of beans by a dollar, bringing the price to $8.99.
However, only some consumers may actually see the savings -- the choice to drop retail prices will be up to vendors, meaning only some outlets will pass the extra dollar along to customers.
The lowered coffee prices will not impact other menu items, says Starbucks.
