Goodwill’s Cyclist Sale offers affordable bikes for all ages
Biking around the city is a great alternative to paying for gas, parking, or a bus ticket. But, buying cycling gear can get pricey.
For cyclists looking for quality gear for a low cost, the Goodwill is hosting its third annual cyclist sale. The sale kicks off June 9 and 10 at the Goodwill’s flagship Seattle store, located at 1400 S. Lane St.
The sale will feature more than 250 bikes and is a perfect place to get good quality equipment at affordable prices. In addition to mountain, road and hybrid bikes for adults, the sale will include vintage bikes and cruisers.
Cyclists looking for brand-names will not be disappointed. The sale will offer most name brands: Schwinn, DiamondBack, Specialized, Bianchi, Giant, Trek, Raleigh, Kona, Forte, Gitane, Dyno, Mongoose, and more.
The sale offers more than just bikes. It will have everything to round out the biking experience, including: jerseys, shorts, hats, shoes, seats, helmets, pedals, rims, tires, racks, frames, fenders, handlebars, water bottles, lights, reflectors, training wheels, pumps and more.
The net proceeds from shoppers’ purchases support Goodwill’s free job training and education programs that help people get jobs and become economically self-sufficient.
