Seattle’s interior design options just got a little larger with the unveiling of Urbanata, an all-in-one retail showroom offering modestly-priced items with luxury home improvement products.

Urbanta offers sleek, Euro-inspired interior design products for Seattle’s savviest shoppers in a 10,000 square foot SODO-area showroom. The store also offers full-service design consultation and related services to:  urban dwellers, architects, designers and trade professionals – all with an eye towards quality, sustainability and affordability.

“Our team has handpicked well-established, modern products that most savvy urbanites have probably seen in the top design forums and magazines but not available to the Seattle market – until now,” said Mikey McAllister, General Manager of Urbanata.  “We showcase our own CITY line of modestly-priced items alongside state-of-the-art, luxury products so urban dwellers can create their own ideal balance of style, sustainability and affordability.”

During the store’s grand opening this summer, architects, designers, trade professionals and homeowners all enjoyed the live music, food and drinks throughout the evening, while checking out the hand-selected collection of products and see the latest in sustainable solutions for the urban home.

Urbanata plans to host ongoing educational seminars for architects and designers, informational how-to demonstrations and roundtable discussions with industry experts to share their latest design trends and insights.

“The showroom is a perfect backdrop to learn about the latest and greatest within the world of sustainable home design and product innovation,” McAllister said.  “We are thrilled to bring forth products reflecting the latest design trends at different price points, all hand-selected to work with each other and compliment the urban lifestyle.”
