Discover what hipster Halloween is all about on the Hill

Halloween’s hipper cousin ‘Hilloween’ is a free, community carnival in Capitol Hill for kids and adults of all ages. Join the fun Oct. 28 from noon- 6 p.m. at Cal Anderson Park.

Festivities will include activities such as music, arts, story time, carnival games and face painting; top-notch entertainment from notable artists Recess Monkey and Jenny and her Ukulele; a marching band led costume parade (3 p.m.), and trick-or-treating at neighborhood businesses. Kids in costume and with a parent can enjoy a slice afterwards at Pagliacchi Pizza.

“This festival is a great way to bring the Capitol Hill community together,” said Michael Wells, Executive Director of the Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce. “We are excited to have the opportunity to offer a fun and free event the whole family can enjoy.”

Broadway businesses are proud to work together to offer a festive and safe environment for kids to trick-or-treat and families to engage. Don’t miss it!
