Enjoy family time in the great outdoors this weekend

Celebrate spring by exploring nature with your family. This weekend at Magnuson Park, families can enjoy a special blacklight puppet performance of "The Secret Life of Bugs", the fabulous Woodland Park Zoo "Up CLOSE- Owls!" program, and participate in an array of fun and educational nature science activities:
Visit the “Nature Explorers Science Lab” for hands-on adventures to learn how native plants provide habitat for wildlife, how tadpoles and other creatures thrive in the Magnuson wetlands, which birds you will find in the Magnuson forest, how ants build their homes, where ladybugs go in the winter, and more.
Test your “nature knowledge” and win prizes at our carnival games.
Visit interactive exhibits from the Burke Museum “Wonderful World of Spiders”, the Roving Reptiles, Insect Safari, Just Frogs Foundation, Seattle Audubon, and Bats Northwest.
Visit booths from Seattle Parks’ Environmental Learning Centers, Magnuson Environmental Stewardship Alliance, and Mountaineers.
