Firefighters climb to the top of Columbia Center Tower, honor those with cancer
Hundreds of firefighters from across the country raced to the top of the Columbia Center Sunday, all to honor those stricken with cancer. Each firefighter wore about 30lbs of equipment while climbing all 69 flights.

To participate, each had to raise more than $150 for the Leukemia and Lymphnoma Society. Many firefighters told KOMO they did it for family and friends who've lived with cancer.

A Missoula City firefighter ran up the fastest, in just 10 minutes and 48 seconds.
