SEATTLE - A group of people got a little more of a view than they bargained for Sunday afternoon when they got stuck in a Space Needle elevator.

The elevator, which offers a commanding view of Seattle as it travels to the top of the towering Seattle icon, came to a halt about 200 feet off the ground during the Northwest Folklife Festival.

About 20 people were inside at the time.

Space Needle managers say the elevators get stuck on occasion due to an intermittent electrical problem.

It took technicians about 45 minutes to get the Space Needle elevator moving again.

There was no word on whether the people got a refund of the fee they paid to ride.
