OLYMPIA -- A man in pink boots and a dress was arrested outside Olympia's Capital High School Wednesday morning after he was found to be armed with a Taser.

The first report came in that a woman was threatening students and staff as they arrived at the school. But it was actually a man who calls himself Anya Adora.

Officers arrived and Olympia Police Commander Tor Bjornstad said officers almost shot the man.

"The problem is, the Taser looks like a handgun," Bjornstad said. "And in the right or the wrong circumstances, it could have resulted in some sort of a 'suicide by cop' thing."

But Adora surrendered peacefully.

Police then discovered an ominous posting on his MySpace page later in the morning.

It read: "Dead kids aren't funny... In about an hour or so, teens from Capital High School will be parking out from my house and littering as usual.  If I shoot one, perhaps the first one, can I please have someone to talk to about my gender issues?"

Adora identifies himself as being transgender.

Students do park right in front of his house, which is directly across from the school. But no one knows how that all boiled into a confrontation with a Taser at the front doors of the high school.

Adora was booked into Olympia city jail.
