BOISE, Idaho -- A 14-year-old girl who disappeared last Wednesday morning and was feared to be in danger after meeting a 27-year-old man on the Internet, has been found safe.

A citizen tip led Franklin County sheriff's deputies to the pair's location, said Sheriff Richard Lathim. They were found at a campground in Palouse Falls State Park, a remote area about 70 miles from Pasco, Washington.

Lathim said people camping in the area over the weekend went home to the Tri-Cities and saw media reports of the missing girl, and recognized the suspect's car. They called police.

Deputies arrested Morgan Jones of Birmingham, Alabama, on a warrant for kidnapping and was being taken to Franklin County Jail. The girl will be questioned by deputies.

She was last seen Wednesday morning. According to police, she developed an online relationship with Jones while playing an Internet game.

Police believe the man drove to Boise from Alabama and picked up the teen at about 7 a.m. Wednesday. It's not known if they were camping in the state park the entire time.

Boise Police detectives have contacted the teen's family who are relieved to know she's been found and is not harmed.
