Man acting strange in bushes was putting on makeup
BREMERTON - A call to police Saturday by a person who saw a male in nearby bushes turned up a 19-year-old man who was putting on makeup.

Bremerton police were called at about 11:20 a.m., to a residence on the 100 block of Baer Boulevard in the Westpark housing project.

The caller said a man was hiding in the bushes and "acting strangely," the report said.

An officer found the man sitting in the grass "putting on makeup," the officer wrote.

The 19-year-old told the officer he left the house to put on the makeup because "there is better lighting outside," the officer wrote.

The man said he was visiting his sister, and agreed to go back inside the apartment.
