SNOHOMISH COUNTY - A driver is under arrest and recovering from injuries sustained in two dangerous crashes Saturday afternoon during a police chase that shut down part of Interstate 5.
The Washington State Patrol says a driver in a white pickup blew past a deputy's patrol car in Snohomish County. The truck was going more than 100 mph. The driver reportedly hit a semi truck and a car before getting a flat tire near the 196th Street exit of I-5. He was arrested and taken to the hospital. The freeway was closed for a short time while investigators gathered evidence. |
