According a statement issued Friday by the U.S. Marshals Service, Roderick Terry Reed 3rd was picked up Thursday afternoon as part of a roundup of fugitives in Southwest Washington.
The federal agency says Grays Harbor sheriff's deputies and a federal fugitive task force arrested Reed at an address in Aberdeen. Reed was wanted for an outstanding assault charge.
The Marshals Service says the 31-year-old Reed and another person beat and set fire to Marlon Lee on Monday. Surveillance video captured Lee being dropped off at an Aberdeen Hospital.
Lee remained in critical condition in intensive care at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle on Friday afternoon.
