SNOQUALMIE, Wash. -- These days, Julianne Hough is busy as can be.

She splits her time between dazzling the dance floor on the hit ABC show "Dancing with the Stars" and touring the country as a country music singer. Oh, and then there is her boyfriend and "Stars" dancing partner, Chuck Wicks.

Hough said love comes easily between the two of them, but not dancing.

"I think they might expect him to be able to dance and know how to do it. I'm like, 'He grew up on a potato farm. Trust me. He does not know how to dance,'" she said.

But Hough has already proven she can teach. She and her first dancing partner, Apolo Ohno, won the disco ball.

"I love Apolo! I miss him so much," Hough said. "Honestly, you know, no offense to Chuck, but he was my favorite partner, I think, because he was my first partner."

Ohno isn't Hough's only tie to the Pacific Northwest. During her recent tour stop at Snoqualmie Casino, her family from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, was among the audience.

"They were giving us tens downstairs when we were practicing. We'll trade them for the real judges any day," Hough said of her family members.

Hough gets perfect 10s on the dance floor and hits perfect pitch on stage. But she admits there's nothing perfect about her in the kitchen.

"I burn everything. I forget," she said. "I kind of have ADD, like I can't like sit there and watch the stove. I run and I start cleaning up around the house and then I'm like, 'Oh, shoot! The food and the water is boiling over!' And I'm like, 'Oh, no! I'm horrible."'

And for fans of her dancing, Hough says to enjoy her moves while they last. She plans to concentrate on singing in the future.

"The plan right now is to take the next season off, but we'll see," she said.

Hough said she and her beau will be dancing the lindy hop on Monday's episode of the "Dancing with the Stars."
