SEATTLE (AP) - Boeing says Turkish Airlines finalized an order for seven extended range 777-300s worth $1.9 billion at list prices.
Tuesday's order adds to an order for five 777-300ERs placed in April by Turkish Airlines, which currently operates a fleet of 65 Boeing planes.
The 777-300ER is a twin-engine widebody that can seat up to 365 passengers on flights up to 9,100 miles. Boeing says the order confirms the Turkish Airlines plan for international expansion.
