Motorcycle rider killed in crash near Edmonds ferry terminal
EDMONDS, Wash. -- A motorcycle rider was killed Thursday evening when he collided with a minivan near the Edmonds ferry terminal.
The crash happened just before 6 p.m. in the intersection of SR-104 and Dayton Street.
Edmonds police Sgt. Don Anderson said the 53-year-old Port Orchard man died at the scene, but the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Traffic in the area was disrupted for several hours while police collected evidence and took measurements.
The name of the man who was killed has not been released.
