EVERETT, Wash. (AP) - A multi-vehicle collision shut down Interstate 5 South at Everett for a couple of hours on Sunday afternoon. Vehicles began moving south again when all lanes were open at about 5:25 p.m.

The Washington State Department of Transportation says all lanes of southbound I-5 were blocked by the accident that happened at about 3:30 p.m. The collision involved two semis and multiple other vehicles.

The Washington State Patrol is asking drivers to take alternate routes or expect to face long delays. Officials say no serious injuries were reported in the accident.
