Body found inside gutted Onalaska home
ONALASKA, Wash. - A body has been found at the scene of a Friday morning house fire in Onalaska, officials said.
Firefighters responded to the scene, in the 400 block of Burnt Ridge Road, just before 6 a.m.
After the flames were extinguished, investigators combed through the gutted home and found a man's body inside, said Stacy Brown, spokeswoman for the Lewis County Sheriff's Office.
The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
Investigators would not say whether the house fire is considered suspicious.
