Boeing employee's death ruled as suicide
KENT, Wash. -- The man who died following what police described as "an industrial accident" at the Boeing plant committed suicide, according to the King County Medical Examiner's Office.

An autopsy determined the 50-year-old worker had died due to a sharp force injury to the neck.

Capt. Kyle Ohashi said firefighters responded to the plant about 2 p.m. Wednesday and confirmed that a man had died "as a result of a piece of machinery."

Ohashi said the man was authorized to use the machinery.

No other details surrounding the incident were released, but Ohashi said there were "unusual circumstances" surrounding the death.
