The Schrammie: Heaping shame on legal business
The Queen of France proclaimed "Let them eat cake."
The Princess of Bellevue decreed "Let them be shamed."
And so it is that I'd like to invite Deputy Bellevue Mayor Claudia Balducci to put her "cell phone thing" away and come on down.
Citizens hell-bent on saving their neighborhood from the spectacle of bikini baristas selling coffee from a drive-through espresso stand piled into a Bellevue city council meeting to demand the scantily clad women be stripped of their enterprise.
Princess Claudia steered them on an avenging path by suggesting that the good busy-body citizens of Bellevue take it upon themselves to use their cell phone "thingys" and take photos of customers.
Then the pictures could be posted on the Internet, hence heaping shame on those that the princess obviously considers coffee consuming perverts.
Isn't it inspiring to have an elected official who suggests busy-body neighbors spy on people buying a legal product from a legal business?
What a wonderful world Princess Claudia would carve and create.
And so it is that for her propensity for pomposity that I ask Deputy Mayor Princess Claudia Balducci to curtsey and bow, because this "Schrammie" is for you.
