Woman's screams lead cops to Lynnwood death scene
LYNNWOOD, Wash. - Snohomish County sheriff’s detectives are investigating a homicide in the Lynnwood area after a man's body was found in a parking lot early Sunday.
Deputies responded to the scene, in the 15900 block of 44th Ave West, at about 5 a.m. Sunday after receiving a 911 call about a woman screaming in the area.
When officers arrived, they discovered the body of an adult male in a parking lot of the Canyon Springs Apartments. He appeared to be a victim of a homicide, said Rebecca Hover of the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office.
Detectives are currently processing the scene for evidence and the investigation is on-going. The identity of the victim was not released.
Police have not yet identified a suspect in the killing.
