YAKIMA, Wash. -- Search and rescue teams from Yakima County have located the three people who were stranded on Mount Adams. Rescuers said the hikers were not injured and were able to walk down the mountain.

Rescue crews received calls for help from two separate hiking parties on Saturday night from two brothers from Seattle, as well as a third hiker on his own.

Crews could not pinpoint the hikers' location but said all three hikers had contacted the department by cell phone and were not in precarious situations. In both cases, the hikers tried to get off the mountain before nightfall, but got lost in the woods.

The hikers' names are not known.
