Woman critically injured in crash with parked boat
KENMORE, Wash. -- A woman was critically injured late Monday when the SUV she was in slammed into a parked boat, and deputies say alcohol may have been involved.
Officials said two women were in the SUV when the driver lost control and crashed into a boat that was on a trailer in the 19600 block of 61st Place NE.
The woman who was in the passenger seat was trapped in the wreck, and it took firefighters about 15 minutes to cut her out.
She was rushed to Harborview Medical Center with critical injuries, but her current condition is not known.
The driver of was also taken to a hospital with less serious injuries.
The man who owned the boat said it was just purchased four days ago and was totaled in the crash.
