BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, Wash. -- A diver is missing and presumed drowned off the shores of Bainbridge Island Tuesday afternoon.
The diver was among three from the Department of Natural Resources who were sampling geoducks off Restoration Point just before 2:30 p.m.
Divers from Seattle Police and the Navy were helping in the search, which was declared a recovery mission around 4 p.m.
The diver's name has not been released.
