Head-on crash leaves 2 seriously injured in Bothell
BOTHELL, Wash. -- Two people were seriously injured in a head-on crash in Bothell late Monday morning.

The crash occurred just after 10:30 a.m. in the 7500 block of Bothell Way NE, fire officials said.

Officials say a vehicle crossed the center line and collided head-on with another. Aerial video from Air 4 showed a large pickup truck on its side while a station wagon apparently had its roof cut off by firefighters.

One of the injured was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition, while a second person was taken to a local hospital in serious condition. Two other cars were hit in the crash, but their drivers were not hurt.

Police are still investigating what led up to the crash. The westbound lanes of Bothell Way were closed for several hours, finally reopening just before 2:30 p.m.
