New Drug Shows Promising Results In Treating MS
COLUMBUS, OHIO - About 350,000 Americans suffer from Multiple Sclerosis.

It's a debilitating disease that attacks the central nervous system and one of the most common symptoms is severe fatigue.

Now researchers at Ohio State University have found a drug that effectively treats that symptom.

It's called Modafinil and right now it's used to treat narcolepsy.

In clinical trials, MS patients who took Modafinil over a placebo, showed significant improvement in three different tests for fatigue.
