SEATTLE - Seattle's Harborview Medical Center plans to expand its emergency room to cure overcrowding.
The ER will get a new observation and holding area with eight beds.
It's expected to open in July.
The new area will be for patients who've been stabilized so they won't take up space in the ER's resuscitation rooms.
Harborview's emergency room currently has 21 beds but sees at least 275 people a day.
