Stereo Speaker May Have Killed Teen In Crash
SNOHOMISH - It appears music "may" have contributed to the death of a 15-year-old Snohomish County girl.

Investigators believe a stereo speaker could have hit Courtney Amisson in the head during a car crash Thursday.

Police say the large bass speakers under the back window can become projectiles in accidents if they're not properly secured.

A similar accident paralyzed former Seahawk Mike Friar when a speaker hit him in the back of the neck in a car crash in 1994.
