Microsoft Manager Busted For Fraud
SEATTLE - On his Web site he calls himself 'The Dude'...the authorities call him under arrest.
A Microsoft project director has been arrested on federal charges that he stole and sold more than $9 million in software.
The 32-year-old Sammamish man, Daniel Feussner, is accused of wire, mail and computer fraud.
Prosecutors say he ordered expensive Microsoft software by saying that he needed it for his project then sold it to pay for luxury cars, jewelry and a 51-foot yacht.
Microsoft has fired him. He was arrested Wednesday and has a preliminary hearing on December 20.
He is charged with 15 counts of fraud, with each count carrying a maximum of five years in prison.
