TACOMA - A Tacoma man has so much to be thankful for after he received the one thing he desperately needed.
And Bob Torres can thank KOMO viewers, who made it all possible.
Bob now has a wheelchair lift.
Viewers who were struck by Bob's positive attitude donated more than $1,100 for the lift and another $300 for Bob to make repairs on his van.
Torres, who's 60 years old, has had two heart attacks, chronic back pain, diabetes and Multiple Sclerosis.
"I love it. It's great. It's fantastic. It's something I needed really badly," says Torres with a smile.
