KIRKLAND - He's back! And he's as fast as ever.
Mike Rennie from Kirkland is the fastest wood screwer in the Northwest. He just won the big 'screw' contest at the Puyallup fair.
If he wins the national competition in Phoenix in November, he could be a millionaire.
Rennie would have to not only win the competition, but also screw 5 screws in less than 6.5 seconds.
When KOMO 4 News saw him practicing Monday night, he went under 6.5 seconds at least a dozen times He even went 5.94 seconds.
"Wow!" Rennie exclaimed. "I'm a millionaire if I could do that in the competition".
Rennie has already won a $30,000 customized Chevy van. He's among 14 finalists competing in the contest.
The winner will be crowned 'King of the Drill'.
