KING COUNTY - We now know how detectives cracked what they call a very sophisticated mother/daughter prostitution ring.
The informant is a scorned boyfriend who wants revenge.
In court documents, the mother's ex-boyfriend says he ratted the women out because they took his dog and he wants it back.
Detectives think the mother/daughter team is linked to what they describe as a major prostitution ring, with hundreds of high end clients.
One person is now coming to the defense of the daughter. Another ex-boyfriend enters the story.
"They don't have any numbers, no black book, there is no black book," he said. The man doesn't want to be identified, but he says his ex-girlfriend is the daughter in the alleged mother-daughter prostitution bust.
"This is something I never thought would happen, there is no involvement in my house and no money laundering or prostitution for her," said "Jim."
But his ex-girlfriend, Jill Cassette, 31, was arrested at his Arlington home. He says they split up months ago, but Casette lived there while looking for a new place. The ex says they moved to Arlington to get away from Jill's mother, Suzanne Dean and her alleged prostitution business. He claims the mother is the only one involved.
Jill's ex-boyfriend thinks prosecutors haven't charged either woman because detectives are fishing for Johns, or evidence against the women.
"From what I understand there's never been any numbers taken down. There is nothing recorded and so they say this because they want the Seattle people to come clean and press charges against her and Jill," said "Jim."
Detectives say the women ran the Garden of Eden Escort Service online for several years.
"High class, expensive hookers is what it boiled down to," explained King County Sheriff's Sgt. John Urquhart.
Neighbors said they were home on November 25 when Jill was arrested. They describe her as well liked and very involved in their neighborhood. Her four children played with the neighbors' kids and they all barbecued together. "Her arrest was a shock, we just thought she had odd jobs," said one neighbor who wants to remain anonymous.
Police say an electronic black book contains the names of hundreds of Puget Sound executives, credit card numbers and email addresses. KOMO News has also learned from the search warrant that at least three clients are local attorneys.
If police can prove they gave money for sex, then they could be hit with a misdemeanor charge. We've also learned that police confiscated surveillance video of some of the clients.
