OLYMPIA - Several thousand people descended on the state capitol Tuesday calling for an end to abortion. This is the 26th year demonstrators have come.
Organizers say it's heartening to see 4,000 people there, but they say it's heartbreaking that they have to come at all.
Supporters who've been coming for years vow to keep up the fight.
"We just keep praying," said Maxine Eiler with March For Life. "The Lord is in charge of this and it's going to change. He's going to take care of it. Our prayers are going to change this world around. We've got to get morality back."
One of the bills they're supporting again this year is requiring parental consent for young people getting abortions.
