KING COUNTY - A judge wasted no time sending a local man to jail Friday for taking photos up women's skirts.
Jack Vu used his cell phone camera to snap pictures inside a Safeway grocery store.
His victim, Jackie, was alerted by another shopper who saw Vu lean over and snap a photo up her dress.
Vu spoke out for the first time in court Friday and apologized.
"I feel tremendous shame and unspeakable embarrassment and so much regret for the actions I chose. But I take full responsibility."
Vu was a half hour late to his sentencing hearing. The judge wasn't amused when he found it was because Vu was pulled over heading to court.
"When I heard he said, it's because 'I got pulled over,' suddenly my understanding vanished," said the judge. "He will be at jail on time because I have an officer to make sure of that."
Vu immediately headed to jail.
He's sentenced to 60 days in custody and he has to register as a sex offender.
