When Does Summer Begin?
SEATTLE - According to the world clock, which uses the old Greenwich Mean Time, summer this year officially begins June 21st at 12:57 in the morning.

But Seattle is 7 hours behind GMT, so spring for us actually Sunday the 20th at 5:57 p.m.

If you'd like to get a head start on the other seasons of the year, autumn will come barreling in during your morning commute at 8:30 a.m. on September 22nd.
