KING COUNTY - The county's traveling tent city is moving to a new home.

The Northshore United Church of Christ in Woodinville voted Sunday to allow Tent City 4 to move onto its property.

The camp with about 80 homeless people is currently set up at Bothell's Saint Brendan Catholic Church. Their conditional use permit to live there expires on Aug. 14.

Northshore United is inviting the homeless encampment to use its property for up to 90 days starting August 14. The camp will be in a shaded area on the south end of the property.

The church is holding public meetings to address neighbors' concerns. The meetings are scheduled at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, and Thursday, Aug. 5. They'll be held at the church at 18900 168th Avenue NE. in Woodinville.

In addition, the City of Woodinville has scheduled an informational meeting for August 10, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at City Hall.
