Deadly Domestic Dispute
ENUMCLAW - Another deadly case of domestic violence has left one man dead and another man fighting for his life.

Police in Enumclaw are trying to piece together the events that led to the double shooting in the 2800 block of Sun Mt. Drive.

By all accounts, neighbor Denise McClurg tells KOMO 4 News everything appeared to be fine with the family next door. The Christmas decorations were going up; the unfinished lights still lie on the roof of the single story house. But then police showed up Saturday night and cordoned off the entire block.

"Saturday night they told us it was an assault so we just assumed domestic violence...when police didn't leave all night, we figured that somebody had been killed," said McClurg.

Enumclaw Police have not identified the victim and they are releasing few details about the case.

Investigators say the woman who lives at the home called 911 and reported her ex-husband came over and shot her boyfriend in the head.

When police arrived, they found the victim alive -- despite having been shot three times. Sunday he was in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center.

The body of another man was found inside the house. Investigators say he died of a gunshot wound to the head.

The McClurg children played with her neighbor's three children. Until the police showed up, Denise says she never had reason to believe something wrong with the family. Neighbors say the ex-husband rarely came by. Detectives have yet to release a motive in the deadly shooting.
