With allegations that the now Spokane mayor molested young boys back in the 70's; with allegations that he's used his political power as mayor to try and entice young men into sexual encounters, why aren't the Olympia powers-that-be looking into what West may have been up to when he was one of the most powerful members of the State Senate?
I don't give a tinkers dam about West's private life - except when it intersects with his political career.
And just like I didn't care about President Clinton's shenanigans with Monica Lewinsky, I don't care about what Jim West may have been up to in the privacy of his Spokane or Olympia office.
I figure what he did, or didn't do, with consenting adults is none of the public's business.
But if there were kids involved...
If he's been pedaling his political influence in exchange for sex...
I look at the allegations about Jim West as Mayor and can't help but wonder what he might've been up to when he was a big time power broker in the State Senate.
So I want to know: Why isn't the state investigating Jim West?
