State Trooper Injured In Hit-And-Run

SHORELINE - A state trooper is recovering after becoming the victim of a hit and run crash.

It happened around 2:30 Sunday morning at Aurora and 185th in Shoreline.

Investigators say the trooper was on Aurora when another car slammed into her. That driver tried to get away, but then crashed into a flower shop.

Three people in that car, including the driver, were arrested.

Troopers think the driver had been drinking.

As for the trooper's injuries, they were minor and she should be OK.

Aurora Avenue was closed for nearly four hours at the scene before reopening later Sunday morning.
