KITSAP COUNTY - Kitsap County deputies are investigating what appears to be a case of murder-suicide.

It was just after 10 o'clock Saturday night when the sheriff's department got several calls from people who heard gunshots and screaming in a rural Olalla neighborhood.

"I only heard two shots myself," said neighbor Cathy Taylor. "And I thought it was one of the neighbors testing out a new gun. About 15 minutes later, police cars and ambulances were just parading around the neighborhood, and that's when we found out that something devastating had indeed happened."

When deputies arrived outside the home, they found 35-year-old Shane Case dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, along with his 34-year-old ex-girlfriend Teresa Delicio, also dead from gunshot wounds. Inside the house, police found Teresa's father Michael Hahn critically injured from gunfire. He was rushed to a Tacoma hospital.

"Teresa seemed like a pretty nice gal," Taylor said. "My son went and worked for her... Anytime anybody dies, it's horrible."

Investigators are treating this as a domestic violence situation and believe the dead man and woman used to date.
