SEATTLE - Martial arts film fans around the world remembered kung-fu star Bruce Lee, who would have been 65 Sunday.
A large crowd of people gathered at Seattle's Lakeview Cemetery to remember Lee's life. His son, Brandon, who died in a movie set accident, is buried next to his father.
Even in the unlikely venue of Bosnia-Herzegovina, fans and the curious gathered for the unveiling of a life-sized bronze statue of Lee.
Lee played in a series of Hong Kong films in the early 1970's that propelled him to stardom first in Asia, then Europe and eventually back in his native U.S.
He died in Hong Kong in 1973 when he was just 32.
The online movie database www.imdb.com says the circumstances surrounding his death helped make him a cult figure. Doctors say he died in his sleep from a bad reaction to a headache pill. They called it death by misadventure.
