LAKEWOOD - "I think what it is we're just getting tired," said a distraught Yvette Gervais outside her Lakewood home Wednesday night.

Nineteen days after her 10-year-old daughter Adre'Anna Jackson disappeared on her way to school in Lakewood, Yvette says she and her husband are tiring under the strain of not knowing what happened to her.

And Wednesday they grew even more distraught over published reports that they felt might lead people to think of them as suspects.

Both parents have been given lie detector tests; the most recent this Tuesday. The father, Jon Federici, was given his second polygraph test, this time by a different operator.

All of the tests have been inconclusive.

And detectives stressed to KOMO 4 News that tests like these, given to the parents of a missing child, are standard operating procedure.

"You know don't mind because I don't have nothing to hide," said Yvette. "And if it helps that's fine."

As for other recently reported developments, police did take as evidence some of Adre'Anna's clothing in the very first days of the investigation.. That is standard operating procedure too that gives detectives a base sample of evidence and possibly DNA.

So Wednesday night the girl's mother felt it necessary and agreed to answer the difficult question.

"No we did not have anything to do with the disappearance of our daughter," she said.

Police did report finding three empty cement bags in a dumpster nearby during the search. But they say they do not believe they are connected to the investigation.

The girl's father did have a misdemeanor assault charged leveled against him for an incident with his daughter three years ago. Federici and Gervais say that has been blown way out of proportion.

Police say it is normal for parents to be investigated along with all other leads in the disappearance of a child but that neither at this point is considered a suspect.
