FEDERAL WAY - A 39-year-old Kent man was killed Friday morning after a wall collapsed at a construction site in Federal Way.

Police say several construction workers were using a cable to put up a 12x36 foot wall up at a medical professional building. But the cable snapped and the wall fell.

Two men were unable to get out of the way of the falling wall. The Kent man died at the scene, while a Renton man was taken to St. Francis Hospital with a broken leg.

Fire officials say it was simply an accident and there will be no criminal investigation. The victim's name has not been released.
