OLYMPIA - The State Quarter Advisory Commission has released three final designs for the Washington State Quarter that will be released in 2007 as part of the U.S. Mint's 50 State Quarters program.

The first shows an outline of Washington, with Mt. Rainier in the middle, a salmon on the bottom and some apples along the right edge.

The second shows a larger Mt. Rainier lined with Evergreen trees in the foreground, with a salmon arced along the left side.

The final design is a stylized American Indian-style drawing of a playful killer whale.

Now, the Commission wants your help in determining which quarter will be their final recommendation to Gov. Chris Gregoire, who makes the official decision.

You can cast your vote at www.governor.wa.gov

Voting will be open through the end of April. Gov. Gregoire will make the final decision in early May, and the quarter will be released sometime in early spring 2007.
