Arrest Made In Arlington Fatal Hit-And-Run
ARLINGTON - A 25-year-old Marysville man was arrested early Sunday as a suspect in the hit-and-run death of 22-year-old Jon McCamey early Friday morning. Dale J. Brodahl was arrested around 3 a.m. Sunday morning for investigation of felony hit-and-run.

It was around 4:40 a.m. Friday when police got a call requesting medical help for a man who was lying in the street near the intersection of 170th Place NE and 51st Avenue NE. When medics arrived, the man, later identified as McCamey, was already dead and was likely hit hours earlier.

A tip from the community led police to the vehicle suspected to be involved in the crash, and then that led them to Brodahl, who was then taken into custody. The vehicle, a Jeep Cherokee, was impounded for further analysis by Arlington Police.

"Without the help from our community we could not have solved this case in 48 hours," said Arlington Police Chief John Gray. "The community's response to our plea for information was directly responsible for leading us to the vehicle and suspect. We thank the community and our media partners for helping us solve this case."

Court records show Brodahl does have two prior arrests for DUI on his driving record, the last one in April.

McCamey leaves behind a wife and 15-month old daughter.
